Anonymous – the voice of the internet.

The Verdict

Anonymous is a group with many sub-groups, self-defined as ‘hacktivists’ they originated in 2003 on the imageboard 4chan. With the concept of many online hacktivists joining together as one digitized global brain, Anonymous has become the final voice of the internet and an authority protecting our rights.

Declaring themselves on the front line for Wikileaks in recent years Anonymous has become the face of international ‘hacktivism’.

Anonymous is a collective of unnamed individuals, who have earned notoriety for being the pirate authority of the internet and have undeniably caused many Government officials or corporate giants a series of sleepless nights with just one line repeating through the heads ‘We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not forgive. We do not forget.’

This 28 day blog will look at 28 Anonymous operations that will go down in history.

It should be known that I am not a member of Anonymous and although I fully support their movement, my technical skills range from leveling a WOW character to 20 in half an hour and being an expert in customizing ‘Maccy d’s’ orders.
